www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-humber-58419692We're fucked while we've got this kind of story as a headline news story on the Beeb website Absolutely no offence anywhere yet the Beeb have managed, by "reporting" facebook and twitter posts, to turn it into a racist issue We're paying the license fee for this shit! I'll be putting a complaint into them about this pathetic race baiting!

Not a great fan of Piers Morgan but I am a fan of free speech so I'm well pleased with this decision. Me neither. It's all about the principle for me, too. We don't want to go down the DATM road and say, well, who cares, cancel culture is not real, this or that person was just a twat.

What pisses me off most of all is people being 'offended' on behalf of others. Pathetic doesn't even begin to cover it. I'm offended you feel that way.

Non-crime hate-crimes! Here it is again. The old 'in the perception of the victim' nonsense. A good analysis of the new Stasi.

Non-crime hate-crimes! Here it is again. The old 'in the perception of the victim' nonsense. A good analysis of the new Stasi. The police investigating non crime , a great use of their resources, not like we have any real criminals is it. Yes, and there have been well over 100,000 non-crime hate convictions now, almost all in relation to 'offense as perceived by the victim'. These non-crimes still show up on enhanced criminal record searches, and can result in folk losing their jobs, or not getting a job. The ex-cop Harry Miller won his case in the high court and got his ridiculous non-crime overturned, but he shouldn't have had to take it that far. Few people even bother. He retweeted a trans poem, which someone took offense too. The alleged 'victim' got to remain anonymous, while the plod harassed the 'perpetrator' Harry Miller, and convicted him. The conviction which has now been overturned. Common sense eventually prevailed on this occasion.

Harry Miller in person
Article 10 of the EU convention on human rights is a complete nonsense. All that is required is the perception of hate. "In the perception of the victim."

I am terribly offended today....Xmas mentioned TWICE on the news Disgusting isn't it? Just think of all those poor non-Christians who must have been deeply offended by the mere mention of that and are probably still in floods of tears and/or on the phone to the Samaritans as I type this.

The shops are full of shite already and my sister is already planning to buy a new Christmas tree, a purple one! I sometimes think it's the non-Christians who are better off actually.
