Undoubtedly the climate has changed since I was a kid.
You dont even need stats to support that, just a memory. It barely snows anymore. Barely even any really bad frosts.
How much of that is just the natural climate change that has always happened or is due to mankind's activities is whats up for debate IMO. I suspect its a combination of the two.
There was a piece on Countryfile about flooding the other night and the presenter basically put the increases all down to climate change.
What she didnt mention at all was all the extra millions upon millions of rain gathering devices that funnel water straight into the river system... ie Roofs, driveways, roads, car parks.
They must total an enormous area combined, where previously rain would soak into the earth.
So is it down to climate change? probably in part.. Are there other factors making a huge impact ? definitely.

Here, this sums up the problem.
So a study which is far more accurate as it uses satellite data and covers the entire planet and concentrates on the last 50 years, but does not meet the agenda, so is demonetised by Google.
A trick they use with anyone not meeting the WEF Project Fear Agenda.
This bloke was a senior climate scientist for NASA and is using data from satellites, which is true and easily verified.
A perfect example of Google controlling how people should think by hiding the truth, by starving those who won't fit WEF agenda, of funds.

Not sure what this has to do with 1 in 13 of all people currently being alive...however what the climate lobbyists did that was really clever was to throw out this label of a climate 'emergency'.
It generates good press, especially within the simplistic bounds of TV media that needs a story in 500 words. Someone harps on that there's an emergency and that burrows into the public conscience then its very difficult to say, "well we aren't really going to do anything".
There's not the space to have the discussion that there is no EMERGENCY when ranty people are asking questions to which there's no answer. Its the old, "will you donate to saving orangutans"..."No"..."Why, don't you care about orangutans you heartless bastard" circular argument - where the response is not the answer that is desired, so gets trodden over by a spurious argument.
There is no actual climate emergency, but we're in a Climate Emergency because that was declared and is therefore a thing. Now what?

When I was kid, every single winter I would spend quite a bit of time sledging, building snowmen, snowball fights and having days off because the school shut. Some winters were better for that than others but no winter ever passed without a lot of it going on. It barely ever snows now in Mirfield. Years go by without any significant fall and if it does snow it usually disappears the same day. A whole winter will pass without any severe frost. The canal used to freeze solid for weeks on end. Very rare it freezes even in part now. that might be a natural change, it might not, but if youre telling me Im remembering it wrong, im telling you youre talking shite, as per usual. I'm amazed Russell Brand doesnt think the earth is flat.. its about as believable as most of the shite he spouts. It would be a SPECTRE conspiracy to use MSM propaganda to con the stupid masses into believing its a globe and only you and Russ with your enormous IQs know the real truth. |

Listen you can put forward arguments about natural changes in climate.. about the reasons for the climate agenda and those who benefit from them.. about the discrepancies around the science and data they use.
Theyre legitimate arguments and I have sympathy for many of them myself.
But where I grew up it snowed a damned site more each winter when I was a child than it does now. Its not even comparable.
Denying that is just bollocks.
By the way, its ironic you choose Wagon wheels as your comparison.... they have shrunk in size since I was a kid, both in dimensions and in weight. FACT.
