Womens football is now something foisted on us without the mainstream being able to respond. On the news, sports programmes and pages. From nothing to daily in a few short years. Womens football is simply not good enough for broadcasting.....in fact its shit. Wembley here we come! Well done and huge respect to the women's team after their semi-final performance against Sweden.

Well done and huge respect to the women's team after their semi-final performance against Sweden. Having not really watched much women's football before (although been on the bruising receiving end of it a couple of times!) - I must admit I've been surprised by the quality and watchability of most of this Championship. Obviously this is the cream of the crop, but its far more like Premier League football in its approach in terms of tactics, technical and athletic ability, than you get if you watch a televised League 2 or even League 1 game, which are for the most part utter garbage. Yup, there's moments of "that was a bit shit", along with some bad decision making, but you get that in all levels of football...and even the stereotypical weak spot, the goalkeepers, have impressed for the most part. Would rather watch ANY of the games at this championship on TV than for example the England mens U21 team, having seen them live in a competitive qualifying match in Hudds, which was like watching a dreary pre-season game. Quoted from Otium above > "Womens football is simply not good enough for broadcasting.....in fact its shit". Patently incorrect based on the evidence of the last few weeks.

Russo's back heeled goal last night was class, if a Town player did that we'd all be waxing lyrical about it, very nice first goal as well.

I like watching all levels of football. To me you just adjust your expectations for whoever it is youre watching so even fat blokes on Sunday morning can be a really entertaining watch. Havent seen much of this women's championships but when I have its been generally impressive. Lacks the physicality of the mens game obviously, but also lacks a lot of the play acting... the feigning injury and diving...so in that respect its actually more 'manly' than the mens game. Its a good watch... Oti was talking out of his backside as he often did when it came to football. The only thing that irritates me about women's football is the ridiculously disproportionate amount of coverage its gets ( not these championships but the league ) where clubs that attract 1000-2000 fans get the same coverage on the BBC website and Sky Sports as PL clubs who get 50-70k,, and more than Championship clubs getting 20-40k. All a bit predictably 'wokey' from the BBC and Sky Sports.

The Lionesses v. Die Nationalelf.
Let's hope the krauts turn out to be as bad as our National 'Elf Service!

Excellent opening goal for England....very well taken. Intriguing to see all those little girls in the crowds now loving the game of soccer!

When Kelly popped the winner in, and ripped off her shirt, she displayed her (unsexy) white bra to the world.
When pro males rip their shirts off, a lot seem to be wearing black bras....even more unsexy than Chloe's!

No 🤷♂️ For info, Chloe Kelly was booked for her celebration. Doubt she's bothered by the £10 FA fine given what the goal meant!! And I doubt she'd have done the same if scoring in an earlier match where totting up could have resulted in suspension.

The women's game is OK to watch, but is a lot lower standard.
I don't mind watching it and the later stages of the competition were far better, when all the dross had been eliminated. What I do object to is being force fed it by a media desperate to earn virtue signalling points.
In the men's game we have to have a quota of poor standard women pundits now, yet in the women's game, it can be all women making up the studio and pitch side team. Once again, the WOKE left are using over representation to force an agenda.
