Hope ya well mate. Theres so much more than being reported, this is a tiny fraction. Look at Yaxley Lennon and them doing that. It isn't just the Muslim community, but having a Prophet who was a paedophile, makes it a bit accepting in that culture.

It's good news that the perpetrators of these offences are being traced & convicted even many years after they were committed. All that is regardless of status, ethnicity or anything else that might have shielded them in the past. It's slightly disingenuous to say Rotherham "again" as Lord Ahmed's offences pre-date the grooming gang issues by decades. Anyway, it does seem to be the case that some lessons have been learned here which can only be to the benefit of vulnerable children.

I believe kids should be taught at school the fundamentals of life. Like what to and not to do, what to watch out for etc. Yes it's parents jobs and mine know what is right and wrong but some parents don't give a fuck

Yes, I agree, but to what extent do you think it's happening today & how will you know it's stopped? Do you think it's happening more than 10 years ago or less? Do you think gangs are still able to use different things to hide behind, ethnicity being the obvious one, or do you think tools exist now to detect & tackle it?
FWIW, my take is that child abuse will never be eliminated, but the way gangs organise is much like any organised crime in that different groups use different methodologies at different times to avoid detection. The ones we don't know about are far more worrying for that very reason.
We know, because the report clearly proved it, that groups of Asian men were able to use agencies fear of being accused of racism to hide their activities. I think a lot has been put in place to tackle that over the last decade, & that is a good thing. Probably the most difficult aspect to tackle is deomestic child abuse or 'one man band' abusers operating under cover of anything they can find.
In terms of organised criminal gangs, although I've not operated in that world for a few years now, I would hazard a guess that the most abused children (in terms of gangs rather than individual cases of abuse) currently in Britain will have been brought here explicitly for that purpose.

Much like any other subject though, being able to go home & talk to someone about it will mean you're likely to fare better than not being able to.

Makes total sense given the worpd we now live in.

Makes total sense given the worpd we now live in. Like a lot of stuff, it depends on how the school fits it into the curriculum but they should be getting PSHE lessons & have things like internet safety week, etc. In Y.5, the Science curriculum covers how plants & animals, including humans, reproduce, but the focus is on the biology rather than the sex at that point.
The way we had to teach it started with kids drawing (in gender groups - comments on that elsewhere!!) pictures of how their bodies were or would be likely to change in the next few years, as well as looking at good & bad words for different parts of the anatomy. For some reason, the boys tended to love that bit. They would then see videos & PowerPoints. I started one lesson telling them I had a short PowerPoint...at which point one girl shouts to her mate..."Oh no, he's going to be showing us dirty pictures again. I told my Mum about that." I toyed with the idea of going straight for my P45.

Out in 2. It's not always Rotherham, but it is almost always Islam. Cue the lefties harping on about Saville and the CoE from 40 years ago, to bury the idea that in the here and now, child sex grooming is lamost exclusively carried out by gangs of immigrant Muslims, mainly of Pakistani heritage. With the 12,000 recent Afghan permanent VIP guests, how long before we start seeing our first known cases of Bacha Bazi? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacha_bazi#:~:text=%22boy%20play%22%3B%20from%20%D8%A8%DA%86%D9%87,sexual%20slavery%20and%20child%20prostitution. Import the third world....
