I suspect there are plenty like him in the Commons. Sheerman is another on that would be quite capable of acting that way.

As Speaker, he probably did more to corrupt Parliamentary procedure than any of his predecessors. Genuine vermin.

Some of his interference in the derailing of the Brexit process, was akin to what you'd expect from an African Dictatorship. I'd like to see him investigated alongside both Blairs, Sadiq Khan and Starmer, all of whom have acted against the interests of the UK in their roles, yet got away with it.

He was an obnoxious little fecker, but this was ignored for the most part because he was on the 'right' side - pro remain. This is in't really about Leave/Remain though. The point is that he was meant to be neutral.
