15 goals in 62 non league games doesn't look that great but he's only 21 so should improve.

If that's all he can do at National League level, it's going to be one Hell of a jump to Championship level.

One of those that they will have looked at and believe they can improve a lot. If the raw materials are there and the lads got the right attitude, it can happen.

I would hope that fee is 'RISES to £700k' otherwise its quite an expensive gamble on a player from that level with the stats he has.

Since he's out of contract at the end of June, as an under 23 year old, isn't the fee set based on number of years you've been in the system at whatever level, plus an extra lump equivalent to one years salary of your expired contract or something like that?
