As far as I know (I stand to be corrected) but if a buy out clause is set and two teams offer that amount it’s then a fight between them as to the wages they offer rather than increased bids? In a minor whoooooosh moment, T69 was implying you'd suggested Notts County had made an offer. (although I like to wind Forest fans up by calling them Notts Forest too!). I drove out of a firm in Nottingham, years ago, mainly Forest fans, few County and was all too aware it’s Notts County, it’s on a par with referring to those inhabitants north of the border as a drink rather than Scots ! They are also very touchy if you call Gotham - Goth-ham as in Batman, they maintain its Goat-ham. I’ve been using Notts for them ever since Wembley purely out of devilment. |

Arsehole He seems to be saying, "there are rules on DATM that mean that casual racist (ie, racist) posts, should see posters banned for a month, but 'cause there were so many transgressions, we're ignoring those rules and are just deleting the posts so we can pretend they didn't happen...meanwhile...there's another site that doesn't have rules beyond the standard Proboards terms, which I'll interpret to mean its a lawless free-for-all full of ranty offensive scumbags, so if you want to post racist stuff, go and visit the Wild West....you know, that place where there's been NO racist comments". |

While he didn’t do a great deal, in fairness arriving with an injury didn’t give him much opportunity to do a great deal with us, I think I’d take another punt on him, my gut feeling is there’s a good player there.

Might see a bit more of him in a team where every single result is not quite as important as ours became last season. Bit more of a chance to learn and grow if you're not in the spot-light of the top 6 (its obviously impossible to predict, but I have a good feeling we'll be a good 6 to 12 places lower than we were). |
