That’s proper shite for anyone who has already bought train tickets, hotels and the rest, it’s not as if the Commonwealth Games appeared from out of the blue either, they’ve been planned for about 5 years. In cases like this I feel the home side should be made to compensate fans, home and away for lost money, but of course it willl never happen. The least they could do is make tickets £5 for the Friday.
