Don't know if this is news to anyone else...but...
Evangelos Marinakis is the owner of Forest and Olympiacos (who Carlos C are linked with)
Have a read of this - a 5+ year long investigation which reads like an incredible TV movie...
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_Greek_football_match-fixing_scandal
Bombing of bakeries owned by referees, influencing of other clubs including getting an inside man into the role of manager, influencing of fans to attend an unrelated club and cause riots so that club would be penalised, he was banned from football for a period. During this whole investigation, Olympiacos won the league every season, collecting €20m+ prize money from UEFA each time.
This bit - "On 21 February 2011, Olympiacos beat Panathinaikos in Karaiskaki Stadium (2–1), after a controversial, regarding the referee's decisions, game." - reads suspiciously like Town v Forest?! - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evangelos_Marinakis#Sports_2
Then, with a massive amount of evidence, after the prosecutors were replaced (by a football federation president that Marinakis effectively controlled), suddenly in 2021, all witness testimony was thrown out, and the case was closed indefinitely.
Separately, a ship he half-owned was intercepted carrying 2 tons of heroin. The other owner claimed there was actually another ton of heroin unloaded earlier, and that the drugs were owned by Marinakis - that person is behind bars now, meanwhile, the case against Marinakis was dropped due to a lack of evidence, and after 10 witnesses of the case had died.

It makes you think - the nature of Carlos leaving could easily be spun into this fantastical story.
NOTE - I'm not suggesting anything, the owner of Forest has not been found guilty of any of these crimes, and obviously must be considered 'fit and proper' by the English FA and Premier League. It just makes you think, when you're hearing moans about our own club owners 'behaviours' !
