Isn't Black Lives Matter offensive to white people? It should be to those not programmed WOKE. Surely dividing people into racial groups then apply value to the life of one, but not the other, is discriminatory?
I really don't understand this modern left wing fascination of dividing people into separate groups, then treating them differently to create "equality". Equality is treating people the same, no matter what. It is not singling groups out for special treatment due to historic differences.
Black only housing associations.....Black Policeman's Association....BBC Asian Network.....BBC Pidgin (look it up if you've never laughed at reading the news in slang Nigerian), Music of Black Origin awards....BAME only job vacancies (yes they exist).....BAME only apprenticeships... etc.
None of those promote equality. All are discriminatory, but somehow socially acceptable to the vocal minority in the left wing media, educations system and civil service.

Agreed but don't forget that only white people can be racist, just like only men can be sexist.

FTR I found the slogan used by a major political party in the last general election grossly offensive. "For the Many, Not The Privileged Few". Sickened me to my core. Should I have been protected from that? Yes, it's all very subjective, and so much depends on the context. We all have a pretty good idea of when someone is being abusive (DATM was full of it), but the "In the perception of the victim" definition was clearly flawed, and it's application downright idiotic on occasion. The Nazi Pug and the Liverpool Rap Lyrics episode being classic cases in point. As a general rule, when someone is being abusive it is because they are on weak ground, and therefore resort to the lowest common denominator. I had a white friend who used the N word regularly, and in front of his black mates, but then he was married to a black woman and he had two mixed race children, so he got a free pass. He obviously wasn't racist, and used it in the context that some people of Afro-Caribbean origin do.

Well, those who responded with All Lives Matter were immediately labeled racist, so to some extent, yes. Even the Guardian and BBC claimed the All Lives slogan was racist, even when worn by ethnic people who saw through BLM.

The obvious implication of all this being that white lives definitely do not matter. Trend forecasts are predicting that by 2050 whites will be 8% of the population in Europe and this of course is the plan. White genocide in effect. The biggest threat to 'the powers that shouldn't be' is the white race and hence the Coudenhove-Kalergi plan - which I have mentioned on here before, several times. And if that makes me a 'racist' for even daring to say that, then so be it. I'm a filthy racist then.

If that's true, & sadly I suspect it might be, then I agree that it's ridiculous. This is a point where I start to get on my high horse a bit. George Orwell once wrote, "What is above all needed is to let the meaning choose the word, and not the other way about."
He was very afraid, as reflected in 1984, that by stripping more & more language out of common use that we would lose the capacity to think critically. These are people who are absolutely oloking to get their names in the paper from their otherwise anymous lives by finding problems that don't actually exist. Yes, highlight that the term, when applied to certain people, is derogatory (assuming they say it is) but having it removed from non-offensive contexts really does start to become a problem when it isn't an offensive word per se.

Makes me wonder if some people sit around all day looking for things to be offended about, it's the name of a sweet FFS, been around since I was a kid so how come it's now offensive ? Have any people with dwarfism been asked if they are offended or is it yet another white middle class leftie telling us we should be offended ? Where does all this bull shit end.
